The shower stall is 30 deep by 31 wide and the drain is not in the middle of the stall. There is a couple of inched difference between the bathroom floor and the shower floor. I assume there is some kind of base that will need to come out when I tear the tile out. Does anyone make a muti-piece insert and what can I do about the offset drain?

First, what is it you're attempting to do? Tear out a old shower and install a new one? And by "Multi Piece Insert" are you referring to a shower base or a drain fitting? Let's see if I understand what you have. You have a older tile shower that has a shower base floor. Right? What, exactly, do you wish to do and how do you want to do it? Cheers, Tom

I would like to up date the shower by removing the high maintenace tile and install an insert. I don't think I have the clearance to get a one piece (three sides) stall through the door. I'm not sure of the difference between a shower base and a drain fitting. I assume the tile shower base will have to come out along with the tile walls.

You have a "Tile Based Floor"? Where's your shower located and give me some measures. How large a enclosure? How far is the drain from the wall? By "insert" I'm assuming your talking about a shower stall? Let me know what you can fit in and I'll see what I can do. Cheers,Ton
