I would like to know what the Statue of Limitations is, on filing a law suit against a former same-sex partner?
She had left without notice 2 years ago, taking with her most of the Business (which was in my name) equipment, as well as household personal furnishings of mine, and had left me to hold the total debt bag with creditors, which I am now paying back on an agreed proposal.

Assuming you and your ex-partner were neither married nor "common law" and assuming your cause of action against her arose after January 1, 2004, then the basic limitation period for you to bring a lawsuit against her is two years (some exceptions apply).
