HI,

I put a load of close in the dryer, set the timer and pushed the start button. The dryer started an ran for about 10 minutes, had it set for 30. Checked the breaker, checked the power coming in, checked the thermo switches and all OK. The dryer will not start again.

Does anybody have any idea?

Thanks,
Chuck

Check the thermal fuse on the back of the vent housing. When it goes it has to be replaced. It is non resetable. Less than $15. Also check the door switch. When checking these, disconnet power and remove 1 wire and check for continuity. If it is the thermal fuse it went because the vent overheated. Just replacing will not solve the problem without cleaning vent hose from dryer to where it exits. If that was the problem and you don't clean vent you will have a repeat of this problem. Good Luck. Post back with results as it may help others.

Check the door switch. Check the thermal fuse on back of vent housing. When it goes unit will not run. Disconnect power to unit and remove one wire to fuse. Check for continuity. If none, replace.Less than$15. Then if was the fuse, you will need to clean vent hose from dryer to where it exits house or you will blow the new one as well.
