I'm having electrical work done in basement and have not used my ac since they started. Today it was 99 and put ac on only it didn't kick on, tried the heat and it didn't kick in, so I tried the fan and it didn't kick in, what could it be? Thermost? My unit is only 2 years old and was working before the work started.

Check your breakers. They may have shut it off. I would get the electricians back to check it out. Sounds like you have no power to unit
