I have a question Id like to see if anyone can help me with before I call a service tech.
On the inside of my A/C unit where it meets up with the furnace I have a lot of frost build up on the copper lines. I am new to the central air and have always had swamp coolers.
I changed the filter and even shut it down for about 4 hours hoping this might solve my problem, the frost went away but came back on start up. If anyone has some insight Id love to read it.

Thanks

Low freon maybe your problem. If it is, look for a leak.

First, check your air filter, if it looks plugged, replace it. If this doesn't take care of the problem call in a service tech. It could be low on refrigerant and chances are, if you haven't had your system looked at lately it will need a good cleaning.
