I have an error upon bootup of my computer. It reads:
REG.EXE - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point RegGetValueW could not be located in the dynamic link library ADVAPI32.dll.
OK
What do I make of this, and how do I properly get rid of it?
Thanks,
John Villegas

It looks like it is an error in registry. I would go here TuneUp Software International - Home Page (http://www.tune-up.com/) and download the free trail of tuneup utilities and do the one click maintenance (if they have that in the trail). This will take care of a lot of problems on your computer AND clean up the registry if this is your problem. If you still have a problem after this reply.

Have you done a spyware scan?

jhvillegas2 although it didn't have the one click maintenance, did it has a registery cleaner of any sort? I have the full version so I don't know :(. The registery may be the answer but maybe not; it is worth a try though
