I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question, but it doesn't seem to fit in any other category. In my apartment, I am discovering that there is moisture coming in through the floor somewhere, because I have two pairs of leather sandals that were on the floor of my closet, and as I went to pull them out today, I discovered that they are covered in a powdery yellow-ish, greenish mold! I have had these sandals for 10 years and never had this problem (though I have had many issues with moisture in my apartment!). Is there any way to get mold off leather-like a special cleaner I should be using?
One pair is a sueded leather and the other pair is a smoother, polished leather. They have cork soles.
