Kitten is good he has a death wish mind you lil monkey i swear he is on a mission to kill me he keeps running under my feet lol hard as i can't see my feet anymore ;) Ben is fine were having car trouble but hopefully it should be fixed tommorow so he can go back to work :D
Are you ok????

Kittens and kids will be kittens and kids.

Having 'the man' around all day can be a problem because sometimes they act worse than kittens and kids.. but a good man is sometimes worth the troubles.

I hope the car gets fixed soon too. When they are broke, it's like missing an arm or leg and can make the whole family feel stressed. I don't drive anymore, and miss it, but have learned to live without because it's only me and my cat and I can call Jaime on emergencies. Once advantage to that is I can sit in the back and smooch with my grandson and he can't get away because he's belted in his seat.. ha.. ha.

http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_11_4.gifWe both drive his mom nuts sometimes, and I love it!

Tamed, do the cramps go away when you lay down at all?

Edit:

Hi guys! How's things going?

Hey, girlfriend... how have you been?
Sure would like to see more of you in the 'garden'. I visit there most because my time is sort of limited lately.. too many other things to get done.
Hope all is well with you and your's.

Everything is going as well as can be expected... The house is coming together finally the twins are walking now. I have them, nine cats, two dogs, one tarantula and one hubby and all the warm fuzzy feelings to go along with it... then I wake up to the stress... lol. I wouldn't change it for the world...

Oh and I forgot to mention the partridge in the pear tree...

How are you doing hun?

Chery

So glad that you remembered that partidge... ha ha.

What's it like chasing after two new little walkers?

Jaime has enough with just the one. He's wonderful and I am so proud. He likes going up stairs now, but still difficult getting back down. They are moving into a new house where the bedrooms are on floor two and three, so he will get a lot of practice, and so will his mom (she wanted to loose a little weight again anyway). He gave me the tour of the new place on Sunday, ran around all over and rattled off as if I knew what he was talking about, it was so funny.

Getting a CT on Wednesday to see how far the adenocarcinoma has spread and maybe I'll find out for sure how much longer I have to enjoy my grandson to the fullest. I plan to enjoy the remaining time to the fullest.

How about we email sometime.. at [email protected], if you have the time to catch up and maybe share some pictures too..

Wow... and here I didn't think anyone missed me... lol... I was wrong I guess... I'm trying to get on as much a possible... lol... it's not much at the moment I'm afraid. Well kids are up so I better get off here and see to them so I can chase them around and finally loose some baby weight... lol... nice to know I'm missed

OH my my my guys, morning, noon, and night sickness has gotten the best of me... any tips? What do you guys think about Preggie Pops?

curlybenswife
Nov 13, 2007, 03:10 PM
Its trial and error Rank I'm afraid if you find something that works stick to it I never suffered so I can't really help.

tamed
Nov 13, 2007, 03:53 PM
Hey Myth, good to see you back you have been missed. Rank, sorry about the morning sickness but I don't know much about the pregnant pops. Nothing really worked for me when I had mine so I can't suggest much either except to try to eat before you get out of bed (if possible) so that you don't get too hungry and not to eat too much. Plenty of fluids so that you don't get dehydrated, can't really think of much else at the moment hope that helps.

alkalineangel
Nov 13, 2007, 06:50 PM
lol... rank - I know it sounds gross... but Find the food that taste the best coming back up (arby's)... LOL... and stay away from citrusy things until its passed, if you value your esophagus (sp?)

Hope everyone is doing well... I was just diagnosed with SPD today. At least I know why I have been in so much pain lately. Did/is anyone else suffer(ing) from this? My doc told me there wasn't much that could be done other than increasing fluids and rest and taking tylenol, but I still have 6 weeks, and the pain is excrutiating at times... anyone know any tricks or anything? I can't find much info out there...

melissa1
Nov 16, 2007, 04:17 PM
Really suffering today I'm 7weeks and 4days pregnant since 5pm I have been feeling so sick (not actually been sick) had diarrehea (sorry to be gross) and have to sit down at times as it feels like the room is spinning at 100mph lol

alkalineangel
Nov 16, 2007, 04:20 PM
Lol... now I don't miss that... I suggest plenty of water dear, and rest as much as possible. Saltines help.

melissa1
Nov 16, 2007, 04:20 PM
So the diarrehea thing is normal??

alkalineangel
Nov 16, 2007, 04:22 PM
That could be from something you ate... I wouldn't associate it with the pregnancy per say... stay hydrated and if it lasts longer than a few days call the doc to be sure, but I don't think its anything serious.

melissa1
Nov 16, 2007, 04:25 PM
That's OK then was getting worried there for a min, it seems to have gone now anyway the only thing getting to me now is having a headache from the minute I wake up in the morning until I go to bed but suppose you just have to think what your going to get at the end of the 9 months
Got my scan date for the 12th dec can't wait to see the little one

alkalineangel
Nov 16, 2007, 04:30 PM
Good for you. You can take tylenol (acetemenophine) for the headache... its safe. Good luck on the 12th!

melissa1

Just had a moment to log on and say hey to everyone. I have heard good things about the preggy pops, by the way. It's worth a try. Anything with ginger, or that's high in protein. Will help with the morning sickness. I used beef jerky. They say that carbs will actually make it worse now. Can't remember at the moment where I heard it. As soon as I do I'll let you all know. Well it's been a long day and I'm still not done. So love you all and I hope tomorrow is a wonderfully pleasant day for you and if not the day after will be different... not better just different. Night.

I was diagnosed with SPD at around 24 weeks and I can understand what you're going through. With mine, I had to have some physio and was given a few exercises to try which consisted of using more of my stomach muscles when getting in and out of bed. The other thing that helped was putting planks of wood under the mattress, the hard surface seemed to do wonders for me. Also when turning in bed, I found it easier to sit up first and then turn. I don't know how bad your SPD is maybe if you give me more details I maybe be able to give you a more specific advice.

Yawn Hi lady's how are my wonderful pregnant friends?

tamed
Nov 21, 2007, 10:18 AM
Hey Mrs curlyben, I'm good how are you doing? My babies are coming out very soon and I'n a bit anxious, I've had minor surgery before but I don't know what it would be like to actually be awake during a major surgery, do you have any tips? How's millie and the hubby, are they behaving?

curlybenswife
Nov 21, 2007, 10:26 AM
You don't feel anything other than them tugging you about hunn the bit that scared the out of me was the needle in the back for the spinal block, ben said earlier today though that seeing me get cut open was bloody vile and he isn't looking forward to seeing that again.
I will be having theo by section and I'm not feeling to bad about it to be honest wish they would do it the week after christmas but that won't happen unless I go into early labour that is lol.

*edit* Be prepared to move about the next day it's the best thing you can do it hurts there's no denying that but not for long they give you good drugs ;)

tamed
Nov 21, 2007, 11:55 AM
Thanks for that Myth said something similar about afterwards as well so I must keep that in mind. I completely forgot about the needle part though! I'm strong, I can handle this. If I can handle the steroids shot I can handle the needle in the back (she says bravely), hubby refuses to be anywhere near the doctors he gets queasy at the sight of his own blood so he's sticking to where my head is and will not look away from me. I'm at that point now where I can feel every bit of moving that they do and it feels like they are moving a lot more. How's Theo doing?

curlybenswife
Nov 21, 2007, 01:26 PM
Seems fine I think got another scan next Thursday. Hunn the steroids are absolutely nothing lol I had double doses for millie ;) I just have a real thing about needles in my hands and they have to put one there for the drip after its not nice the back is fine just stay calm and don't bloody move lol.
At least this time I won't have the from hell giving me the section my god I hated the man sooooooo much thankfully he is no longer with the hospital lol.
I will say if hubby is squimish for gods sake write in your notes you want the twins cleaned up before they pass them over shudder its yucky otherwise.

tamed
Nov 22, 2007, 09:53 AM
Lol there are some doctors that are just irritating aren't they? There's this midwife at the delivery suite at my hosp that I just don't like and I hope she won't be anywhere near me on the day she gave me my first steroid shot and it pained like hell but my second shot from a nicer midwife was much better, might get hubby to take care of that part he's good at that! I forgot about cleaning up the twins before they hand them over, I have to tell them about it just before going in the midwives aren't very good at reading notes. Good to hear about Theo, has he found your bladder yet?

curlybenswife
Nov 22, 2007, 10:16 AM
:LOL what do you mean yet he has been bouncing on my bladder since about 18 weeks little monkey :(

I had swollen hands too and it was OK to keep the rings on, they can use tape around them if necessary. Otherwise, the only thing I can think of is place hands in cold soapy water, or a whole bottle of olive oil (lol). I have to work on mine too, cause I get a full-body x-ray done on Monday, and I have a ring on every finger except for the tumbs. With mine, it's not the skin that is swollen, it's the knuckles.. so they might have to cut.

Angel, I hope all goes well and I will send you good vibes..

Nope... and I'm completely flustered now. IM sick and tired of feeling sick and tired, and Im hurting and so weepy... my doc won't see me again until next Thursday, so I have no idea if I have even progressed at all... and Im just completely fed up with this whole thing now... :( I haven't been on much, just too weepy to talk.

I know your just uncomfortable and tired of being pregnant but it won't be much longer...

There is no quiet here... just me tired and frustrated over not being able to keep up with Connor. Im just tired of being in pain and nothing happening... Its like working without pay. Im a major griper when I'm uncomfortable...

I'm a bit better today, although still hurting and still incredibly emotional... I had a good cry with my mom this morning and literally laid on the couch all day and let Connor run wild around the house. I only got up to use the BR, take a bath and start dinner... it was nice. Two more days and then IM officially on vacattion until January 2... hopefully longer if I'm on ML by then...

Chery
Dec 20, 2007, 11:06 PM
Awe, Angel... wish I could do something for you dear, but there are some things us moms just have to do on our own.. hope it won't take much longer for you though. We all know that the pain is 'forgotten' once the baby is here.. but oh boy, until that happens it's like arrrrrgh!

I carried Jaime for 10 months and the last was in the crowning position already - so I couldn't cross my legs much.

If I were there, I'd get some olive oil and massage that tummy with some nice music in the background to help relax you. Be as weapy as you want - you got my virtual hugs!

Al you should have heard me rant and rave when I was preggy... My hubby would leave just so I would calm down... So you rant, rave, cry, scream at the comp what ever you like and we will listen, we may elbow each other and say I remember this. We are always here for you. Sometimes sporadically but here none the less

Ugh... I've been waiting to post on this thread for what seems like ages!

Thought this round of Clomid would work since they increased my dose... but I took a test yesterday and it was (-) :(
And the fact that my body is evil (lol) and I don't have periods regardless doesn't help matters much.

I'm starting to feel defeated.

Ugh... sorry... had to vent.

Thanks ladies :) My little MacKenzie is anxiously waiting for a baby brother or sister... or as she says "Mommy I want you to have two babies at the same time, a brother and a sister so I can have both" hahaha!

Man, I got pregnant with her while I was on birth control! So it's crazy that now that my husband and I have been trying we can seem to pull it off!

But I will get a blood pregnancy test this week to make sure I'm not pregnant before starting round 3 of Prometrium and yet higher dose of Clomid.

Until then, I will continue to enjoy reading all about you preggos!! :D lol

CBW - so today is the day, huh? I hope that the next time I sign on that we'll have great news from you and that it does not take too long to open that sun-roof. Wishing you all the best of health for all of you and yours.

Angel... that babe is just so super! - I'm still jealous. Too bad that we women have a 'break off date' and that the guys can become dads even late in their 80's - sounds like something here is not fair.

Macksmom - Sorry to hear that it did not work this time, but don't give up dear. I dearly hope and wish that your dream will come true within time. Don't forget to try and consume as many fatty milk products as possible - it seems to help the body think it is worth reproducing. It has been proven that those ladies who consume fat-free mild, yogurt, etc. have less chances to get pregnant because the body thinks that starving bodies are a risk - just a thought.

Starrviolet - don't be in too much of a hurry, once they are here - you can't give them back and the will keep you awake - but to tell you the truth - they are all worth it!

Wishing all of you the most wonderful time with your younguns... and hoping those that don't have them yet - the most wonderful gift in the world!

Love, Chery

Well, it seems as though we have an update.

Theodore Edward was born yesterday via elective section. He weighed in at 6 pounds 12 ounces.

Both mother and son are doing well.

That's all the info that I have at this point, actually, that's all Ben gave me. But I will be sure to post more when I get it.
