My sears elite catalyst dryer stop working. It turns on show its drying but does not spin or heat.

First, check your door switch. Open door. Does light come on? With door open, take your and push in on the switch. Does unit work? They have a thermal fuse on the back side. Will have to remove panel to access it. It is located on the vent housing. It is non resetable. I say it is bad. You can test with a meter. If you don't have a meter, CAREFULLY place a jumper wire (after diconnecting the leads on it)on it and see it it works. If it does, replace the fuse. Cheap repair.
