I have always been 9 stone.. but in the last year I have shot up to nearly 10 stone. I am not eating anything differently and I walk virtually everywhere, but I still can't shift this extra stone off me. I have the implanon in my arm and I am aware that this can make you put on weight but I really want this extra stone to go. I have a small waist but my tummy isn't as flat as it used to be. Can someone give me any tips on how to lose it? Is being nearly 10 stone at 5ft 3in overweight ? - I am 21 years old.

At nearly 10 stone your around 140 lbs, so again accorrding to your frame, these are approximations, if your frame is small you should be around 111 lbs, medium frame 128 lbs, and large frame 148 lbs. SO... depending on this information, you may have a few pounds/stone to shed. Watch portion sizes, 1 serving of meat is 2-3 ounces, size of your palm, skinless chicken, turkey breast, fish and loin type meats, fruits and veggies with every meal, water instead of presweetened drinks, like soda. Cut out white flour, choose whole grains like wheat products, breads, cereals, rice and pasta. Cut out high sugar/sodium products, like cakes, candy, chips, fried foods, fast foods. Eat more seeds, nuts, legumes, beans. Smaller portions and healthier choices, along with 3-4 times a week working out, aerobics, resistance training, swimming, jopgging, biking even walking,
But work the whole body for 30-60 minutes a session. This should help in any case.
