    w-2 status change
I incorrectly signed up with my initial W-2 as a married status. I meant to file as single. How do I go about changing my status for taxes being kept from my paycheck each week. I just signed up a couple weeks ago.

Just ask for a new form to fill out and from that point on you'll be at a different withholding rate.

Ask your employer for another W-4 form (not W-2). Fill it out again with the correct information. Your employer will update the payroll records accordingly.
