My last period was early in Nov. and its now Jan. 13th. And I've been spotting very light pink when I go to the bathroom. It latest 2 days now its coming and going lighter than it was during those 2 days. I took a home pregnancy test 2 weeks ago and it came out negative. Ive had slight cramping but no period still. This is not normal for me. I usually will just start. Me and my b/f don't use any method of birth control. Could I still be pregnant if the test came out negative?

It may be that you are just late. Its not uncommon to be late, or completely miss a cycle now and then. I was once two months late, for seemingly no reason. So perhaps the spotting is just you preparing to have your period(and perhaps you are just having a irregular/lighter then usual period.) It could also be that you are pregnant, but your hcg levels just aren't high enough to register yet. Some women take months to get a positive, some never do get a positive on hpts. In your case, since I would guess you should have had(or the time is close to when you should have) your next period. If you've already missed this second one, I would definietly suggest going to see your physician. I would also suggest a qualatative blood test. These are more accurate then hpts, not much more expensive and can be taken at your local hospital.

Well I've been late before, but I have never spotted light pink like this. My mother thinks I should get a blood test done because she did hpt when she was pregnant with me and they all came out negative, she didn't find out until she was 4 months by a blood test that she was pregnant. She also said that she gets cists a lot and that's what it could possibly be but she said I would know because it would be painful. What other things could it be if its not pregnancy?

Yes, you can be... make a doctors appointment to get blood tests done to see your horomone levels. Urine tests are never as accurate as they say they are. I'm in the Same situation as you. That's how I stumbled across your question,

My last period was Jan21st... it's now March 11th... I just started spotting today...

My boyfriend and I are trying to conceive, and well... I've taken at least 4 urine home pregnancy tests, all negative. Let me know what you find out, I'll also do the same.

I am in the same situation as well. Last perios Jan 3rd. Started spotting on March 1st- spotting since then. 3 negative hpts. Took last one about 2 weeks ago. Going to buy another today and if still negative, making an obgyn appointment asap. So weird! I'm usually so regular.. How has anyone else made out?

I am actually in the same situation as well. My boyfriend and I use Absolutely NO protection at all since we started dating over a year ago and I'm still not pregnant. I am usually 4 months late for my period which sucks because I can never tell if I'm just late or if I'm pregnant. I've never spotted before at all, It started about 1 weeks ago and I know that once you're pregnant you start spotting due to the implantation of you're child. Which makes total sense for me because I started spotting 3 days after our last time of having sex. I took one pregnancy test and it came out negative. I've been really moody, it's kind of ridiculous, really tired,and not hungry at all. Should I just make an appointment with my OBGYN just to make sure?

I have not had my period since early September and it was very light. It is now early December and I have light pink spotting only when I wipe. I took a pregnancy test in mid-October and it was negative. What does this mean? I have been stressing that I am pregnant - I hear the more you stress about it the more delayed your period can be. Is this true and if anyone has any advice as to what may be going on with me please please please let me know what is going on!
