Are you taking Seroquel as a prescribed medication? What is the drug screen for?

The half-life of Seroquel is only 6 hours so yes it will be out of your system.

Can someone please help me. I was on Seroquel Oral 600 mg for sleep. I gained so much weight and just didn't like the med so I went to detox to get off it. It's 5 weeks now and I'm sicker than the day I stopped using it. I haven't slept 3 full nites in five weeks. I can't do anything. I'm hot and cold at the same time, can't go anywhere because I throw up all day the list goes on and on. I don't think I can take another day of this. I feel crazy, I'm just ready to give up. Please any advice on what to do. Will this ever go away and long does it take. Thanks
Melinda

I was on Seroquel Oral ror 2 years for sleep. I didn't like all the side effects. The weight gain, the way way I felt the next day. I went to detox to get off it. I seem to be getting worse that better. Its been 5 weeks now and I have sleep about 3 good nites in five weeks. I can't function, can't go anywhere, can't do anything. My body aches and I have terrible shakes, cold sweats, the list goes on and on. I can't take another day of this. I feel I'm going crazy. Can someone please tell me how long this will last and what should I do. My doctor is no help to me. Any advice would be greatly helpful. Thanks..

Melinda,
Five weeks is a very long time to experience withdrawal from any medication. Especially, following detox...
Beside the use for sleep were any other co-occurring conditions diagnosed? In other words were you experiencing insomnia only or was the insomnia linked to another condition?
Are you currently taking any other medications?

Yes I was experiencing insomnia. No other co-occurring sleep conditions that I am or was aware of. I also was detoxed off 2 mg of Ativan that I was on for about 13 years. I am no medications at this time.

In confirmation, the Seroquel dose was 600mg?
Purpose of the Ativan?
Is your doctor general practice or specialist?
Could you also provide your age

How long does hydrocodone stay in your system
[ 1 Answers ]
I am trying to find out. I have been experiencing depression and I took some hydrocodone for a migraine I had Saturday night. I want to see a physician about the depression but I don't want to look like an addict or something on a blood test.
