    Hampton Bay Model AC-552
Anyone familiar with the Hamton Bay model AC-552? It has a 4-inch drop and the light fixture is 4 bulbs. I'd post a picture if I knew how on this site.

If you are familiar with it can you kindly tell me if this fan is adaptable to flush mount . I'd appreciat it.

Most Hampton Bay fans have model names, instead/in addition to models. Do you know the name? Might be able to help you then.

I hope to have the installation manual by tomorrow. I'm sure the name and other information will be in it. I will then post but I have a sneaky suspicion the hang rod cannot be changed to a flush mount. I hope I'm wrong as it's a very nice unit.

    Thanks for working with me

Most fans from the 90s on that mount with a downrod can be "dual mounted" which is very close to a hugger fan. Generally speaking they will have 3 or 4 screws on the bottom of the canopy that line up with the top of the motor.
