    How to fix a ceiling fan pull chain that broke off inside?
    Now the fan runs 24/7 and I can't turn it off because the pull chain was the only switch. I can still turn the light on and off by the other pull chain. Do not know what brand it is, but it is not flush to the ceiling, but hangs from a short poll.

    Most fans use a generic three position switch.

    You can get these at just about any hardware store,
