I moved into my home in May 05. Every evening I feel someone is watching me and every night I wake up at 3:00 am with the feeling someone was just in my room. My daughter (23) has had the same feelings. Her room is in another part of the house.
One morning at 3:00 I and my dogs woke to the sound of water being spilled, like a pail was just dumped. I looked all over and found nothing. The next morning I went into the basement, and exactly below my bed was a puddle of water with splash marks reaching 1-1/12 feet from the main body. There was nothing wet in the ceiling, no pipes near by.
I also have light bulbs that blow out 2 at a time in the same room. I have left items in one place, gone to get them and can't find them, only to find them there again a couple of days later.
I found out that the family who owned the house before me cut down all the shrubs around the house because they felt someone was watching them from outside.
I thought someone may have died in the house and when I asked the neighbor, she said she's had many of the same problems and that her gandson actually saw a man sitting on his dresser, she saw nothing but he was adamant he was there. This also happened at 3:00 am
Last night I woke to a stench that was a cross between a skunk and dog doo. I let the dogs out, then checked my room. Nothing but the smell, so I thought one of them had gas (3:00 am again). SO I went to the kitchen had a drink, let the dogs in and tried to sleep. By 4:00 I couldn't take the smell so I got up. After showering I went back into the bedroom and there was no smell.
Am I losing it, or is something going on.

What you describe is something that happens at many times. Yes it is possible that there is some level of non traditional energy ( spirit for lack of better term) at your home.

Of course it could be your dogs doing everything.

Short of people thinking I am nuts I have many stories, one house I had the interior motion detectors were set off all the time, with nothing in the house. ( no curtains to move and so on) when things started flying off my desk with me in the same room, it left little doubt. There were often the smell of pipe smoke in our house.

I had another one before I was as church invovled but it was a more evil situation.

Get a medium and have them check it out. When the grandson saw the man sitting on the dresser... well that's enough to convince me. The spirit can be made to leave with the right person in charge.

Are most of your disturbances at 3 and what days dates

All disturbances were at 3:00. I also had several morning where I smelt on occasion lavender perfune and an old spice type cologne.

My father moved in last year (lung cancer) and he reported seeing things just out of the corner of his eye. But last August he moved into assisted living and the "visits" have stopped

I deal with Paranormal daily.. I live in a haunted condo with my bedridden Grandmother.. Many souls have passed in the Codo complex.. 3 AM is a very active time.. I am in the Para Field and have heard many people with the "3 AM" encounters all the time.. So this occurrence is not a rare one.. As far as the water, wow I'd have Loved to have seen that.. I too have light bulbs blow for no reason.. usually when I am having a stressful day, things get moved on me all the time.. So see your not alone, This happens a lot.. We are surround by souls everyday..

Wow I am glad I'm not the only one. I live in Montana in an apartment with a 4 yr old and a 2 year old. I wake up in the middle of the night all the time. It was worse my husband lived with me. He has an angry past though, and 666 tattooed on him. Anyway, Ive woken up to hammering noises at 3 am and it sounds like a box of blankets or something has fallen and we'll go check it out and nothing has moved. Or it sounds like a bunch of whatever has tumbled to the floor and nothing is out of place when I look. This happens almost evry night and it always feels like somebody is watching me any time I'm there. I refuse to be home alone. It is ALWAYS either at 3 am or right around 3 am that these incidents occur. One day I left my apt. and locked the dead bolt (the only way in or out). I come back home and my bathroom lights are all burnt out this is weird because my water heater closet door was open and I looked up and the escape hatch was off. But the weird part is that my husband went up there and there were foot steps leading right to an old furnace pipe and the foot prints just stop right in front of it and the footsteps don't go any where else, they don't even go back. Another time my son sat in the hallway and cryed because I wouldn't pick him up and his leg looked like it was having a seizure and he screamed at the top of his lungs (sounded like a screech) and the light flickered with his scream, it was like going along with his scream and then there was a flash next his head and the light made a pop sound and burnt out. I was so scared to go near him. But I wanted to be there for him and help him so I did any way I picked him up and put him on my bed and he rustled around and cryed softer for about 2 or 3 minutes and immediately fell asleep. Its such a scary feeling

You need to cast it out in the name of jesus. Go through all your belongings in your house and throw out anything ungodly. If your living a wordly life, you're just leaving an open door for spirits to harrass and torment you. Call on god, and renounce satan. He WILL flee from you. I know because I have had the ability to see hear and speak to spirits since I was 4 years old.

Well, it could be four things. The 3 am is significant because of where you are at in your sleep cycle. You should have either just finished dreaming or are about to. In my tradition, dreams are the road to the unconscious and so is the astral. So one, you may be a door or you may have opened one by dreaming and let something in accidentally. In other words, you may have a gift in astral projection you don't know about. Two, it could be your dogs and you wake at 3 still because of the sleep stuff. Three, unconscious material could have woken you from a dream or kept you from one to keep the unconscious material repressed. Whether you remember your dreams or not may be telling. Four, a door was opened at some point and you now must close it. Cleanse your home with sage and cast it out. Seal windows and doorways with salt. Invoke the protection of your pantheon. You can get further protection by casting a protective circle around your home with salt (even if you are Chrisitian this will work without damnation, I promise).

Oh, the smells could be evidence of unconscious material. Many memories have smells attached. I have also heard this to be true of entities as well, carrying the smell of their most powerful memory (this is usually their last one).

Oh and all I wrote before... can be true for your daughter as well. I forgot your child was involved. For that reason, I will help you if you want me to.
