Erection: men +30 don't get as stiff..
    Hi there..

OK, so maybe I'm totally judgemental...
But in my recent encounters with men over thirty I've always found their erections wanting. :)
A semi hard erection just hard enough for penetration is not very sexy.

Now, I'm really sweet and very adapt in making people at ease (not that most men who I am with would need that). In addition, I communicate well, and I just don't think its psychological. Maybe its exhaustion (usually late night).

Still.. I just wondered whether I should be concerned.

Is it just me, or does male erection lose on hardness as men age.. and if so, why is that?

    Any experts around? ;)

    Hi Anjel,

I've only had one partner over 30... he's actually 40. I'll definitely tell you it's the same in my case. He does become fully erected but cannot stay that way for long, or has trouble having a orgasm. So I'd be interested to see what responses are coming your way.

Men over 30 need to watch there diet and exersise. Bike rideing gets the heart pumping and the blood flowing down there it helps. Allso as a side note women over 30 seem to have trouble getting wet.

Be interesting to see if those men you speak, of have health problems or are drinkers. Both can have an effect on hardness and the ability to maintain an erection. Some times medication has this adverse effect also.

Sorry while age ( because it brings health issues and stress) can effect performace, not having any hardness at all.

But men over 50 can still have the same ability as those much younger, sometimes not for as long, and maybe not 4 times a night but just over 30, you should see little difference at all in majority

Your conclusion that men over 30 do not get as hard, or that when they do get hard they can not maintain a full erection, is not true in most cases, it is another thing when men approach 60 or so, it is then that they become less hard, can not maintain an erection and can not ejaculate as soon. They don't necessarily have all three at the same time and if you get one of the 60 year olds that can maintain a full erection but has to take a long time before his orgasm you have found a prize, especially if he has peen a premature ejaculator before.

To all of the above.. they were healthy, very trained and in good health. And I guess I seem to have been very unfortunate then... it just never was an issue with younger men. Its just that since I've been with men +30 (since I age too, right?) that I had to deal with erections that weren't really as hard as what I've been used to.

My other half is in his late 30's an I can honestly say he has never had a problem getting it fully hard an keeping it that way all night long, so it isn't true for all men over 30

I personally can say "it aint exactly what it used to be, but aint all broke". Male, 35.

like I just posted in another thread, steel-peircing hard-ons are wasted on 16 year olds. My experience is is does change in time... now barely enough for penetration in your case? I think that's a little extreme.

half of what I've experienced is more situational. Hard to be fully in the mood when you're rushing to beat the kid getting home from school.

the more I think sex can happen, the more I can anticipate it, the more responsive my body is. And timing can be an issue, as mentioned. I'm a late night person, my partner is morning... which of course means I'm, now, a morning-is-better-than-nothin person. =)

so, again, id say I've seen some change over time. Nothing as extreme as you've mentioned, but noticeable enough.

I have to speak up here. I'm 45 and it get as hard as it ever has in my life, and it stays that way for quite a long time. My wife usually gets off before me, but that's just being in sync because her getting off usually sends me over the edge as well most times. Now I'm not in uber fantasitic condition, just sort of average.

    Anjel,
There are factors that play a role in this, one that is sometimes overlooked is over excitability. Sometimes when a man gets overly excited the male organ can reach full erection but by the time he is ready to perform the act. The erection is only half the fullness as when he first becomes aroused. So you can decrease the length of four play or do as the Porn Industry does and Fluff a little before the act. No I am not in the Porn Industry wrote a thesis paper on it. While in school. Hence a Fluffer is a female whom is used to perform acts on the male organ to regain his erection by manual or oral manipulation. I am now in my 40's and have NO problem getting or keeping one so age is not important unless medical issues are involved.

Well, I'll be 57 in two months and I haven't changed a bit since I was 20. Apparently I'm very lucky with genetics, hormones, and so on. I get rock hard and last for as long as needed - and even get 'spontaneous' erections from time to time. And two times in a day is still a lot of fun!

Ever heard the term "so hard a cat can't scratch it"

    It's southern humor.

Don't ask what the cat has to do with anything, or if this was actually field tested
