These demons like to discourage you by attacking you like that. But always trust in God. He's showing you that He will always be there for you, but you have to have faith and believe in Him. Remember, the world we live in is ruled by satan, but God holds us in His hands. God is the overall ruler of everything. I get attacked in my sleep sometimes, but the way my pastor put it: demons don't attack you when they know they've already won you over and they know you're no longer a threat anymore. Don't ask anyone for help. Ask the Lord to guide you. Ask for His help. He wants to use you for His glory. He wants to work through you. He will answer you one way or another, whether it's through someone or hearing His answer directly through Him. Don't feel alone, all of us Chrisians have been through it. All the members of my family that have been saved have been through it. My former supervisor, who was saved, went through it. When we tell other people about it they look at us like we're crazy. But we know we're not. They haven't experienced what we have, as believer's in Christ. But remember to always trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, no matter what may come your way.

I used to get that all the time. When you deal with your fear it should stop. The singing was probably the heavenly choir. Although you can't speak or cry out you can still thin so in your mind say the name of Jesus. I occasionally get things now but as I sont have fear and they make me angry they don't generally bother me. I have more frights with the people in my village.

This has happened to me SEVERAL times and the only way to make the life sucking sensations go away is to call out Jesus. Sing of Gods praises and recite the Lords Prayer and Apostle's Creed. Just remember that as true Christians, GOD is always on our side. It is horrible to witness these "nightmares" and I feel like my husband doesn't believe me. The only thing that comforts me is praying to the Savior Christ Jesus.

I actually had a similar experience... I don't know if I am being paranoid, or silly - but I was dreaming about something... all I knew is that I ended up in a chruch to see a new born baby - and the mother of the baby was crying that she thinks some evil spirit is attacking/with the baby... so when I asked more about it, they told me to go into the basement where I found some candles and women sitting around a circle ( I think a circle - they looked more like hippie's/ drew ids? ) I wanted to do something... as I did feel the presence so when I walked closer to the child, I took a seat around the circle? And next thing I remember is the women started to chant again - I thought they were chanting to help the baby personally... I still don't know what to think of it - but next when they started to chant I felt like I am being electrocuted/paralyzed - almost like grabbing live wire - and I started to say something - all I remember I felt this intense feeling - I don't want to say I was fighting - or I fought "it" off - but something tried to either get at me - or.. get out of me? - but it was like there was a spendex shield around me and something tried to penetrate it and it just couldn't... I remember one word before I was shaken/thrown out of sleep: "gardak" - when I woke up I felt very very strange - I felt very warm and hot, and found it hard to breathe - I don't remember seeing any dark figures - not that I looked - but I did glance around the room for "unusual" things - I just remember get goose bumps in my half awakened state - That is all I remembered - I was going to wake up my wife to confirm that I am not "hearing" / "seeing" or "feeling" things that are not there - but I am leaving for boot camp soon - and I don't want her to think about these things in case this was just a bad dream - she tends to get hung up on things like these... I just started to ask St. Michael for help, and my guardian angel, and started to recite the Hail Mary's - and the feeling just went away fairly quick... - I went back to sleep - slept fine. I do want to say that its weird. I believe my grandfather is my guardian angel - as I have seen on the day of my wedding - and my x girlfriend dreamt him up one night when I was in danger - she called me on the phone and warned me - (though it was too late - ) I also think he is in my home... well - something /someone... I do blieve its him though... So when this happened - this morning and last night it made me think - I also noticed that my dog has been acting weird lately - like looking around and chasing things that are not there - almost like he is hunting a fly - and there is no fly - then he runs to the door and back and just weird - weird to a point that it made me think about how animals go nuts the day before a big disaster like an earth quake or tsunami... I used to be a strong catholic - though I didn't truly believe in god per say - now I am not a practicing catholic - but my belief and understanding of God is stronger then ever. I am not here to ask for "what to do"... I just feel that things like this should be shared. I am by no means a 'mad' person or a person that makes stuff up. I'm 32. Normally my dreams consist of family, job, wife... old flames... engineering ( I"m a student ) never anything like this... I just started to "google" stuff as soon as I woke up this morning... and this is one of the things that have come up. Anyway... my 2 cents.

Ok, I was at an Encounter at my church last night. I am a Christian. It was the end of the night at this Encounter when we were praiseing Jesus, singing and being blessed with His precense. Well I started feeling "heavey" and started to sob. A cry I NEVER cry. A true sob. Then I looked around for a Leader in the church to pray for me. As I was asking her I grabbed her hand and was falling to the ground. I didn't want to be alone. I wanted someone to help me. I was on the ground and my body was sideway and I was screaming. Not the high pitched voice as if on a roller coaster but the different.I remember my hands were flailing and at one point uncontrollably hit me in the face. I heard the screaming, knew I was scared but the screaming was uncontrollable. I was not sick throwing up, I was thinking that I didn't want to die this way, I couldn't breath at times nor could I talk. Cause when I treid my voice couldn't, nothing was coming out. I remember my lips maybe moving but there was a "blockage" as I tried so hard to say Jesus! All the emotion I had was in my eyes. That's all I had control over, my eyes. Well long story short I am OK, my husband said when I was moved out of the congregation into the prayer room he put his finger tips on my head and he said his fingers started to burn. I finally stopped crying and shaking but my chin was moving up and down really fast as I was moaning quietly. Oh it was a crazy experience. It was just last night. I have been a Christian for three years. I love God, and I will seek Him, and ask Him to reveal to me in His way, what happened to me. I am a little shook up about it still. I will find my comfort and protection in Him.

Hi I'm vinay 24yrs of age.Im from india.Now I'm studying my masters in scotland,uk.This same thing happened to me today at 1:00pm.I born in christianity but I am not a believer.I wanted to take rest at afternoon so I went to bed at 12:30pm.After sometime I feel like someone(there are 2 voices.. one male and one female) is talking to me mentioning my name.The words of them I heard but I am not sure what they are talking about.I tried to wake up but shockingly I can't move a muscle.I tried to call my friend but I was speechless.It was horrible.I heard some strange noises at my ear but I can't figure it out.I tried call his name but not even a single word came from my mouth.I feel someone is pressing hardly my head to the bed.Even I was unable to take the breath.I felt like I was dying.Finally I motivated myself and I just jumped from the bed.There were no one in the room.This strange thing happened to my friend in the same room 20 days ago.He was sleeping in the room and I'm just beside him watching movies in a laptop.Suddenly I noticed my friend making some noises like he is suffering from fever.I called his name twice he was not responded.Then I moved him like I was making him awake.He opened his eyes and surprisingly his body temperature was increased.I asked him what happened.He told he can't breath and speak as someone was lying on his chest.I laughed at him and I told he got a nightmare.Now because of my own experience in this I came to believe there are some unknown forces are around us.

It sounds like evil spirit activity. Christians call on the name of Jesus Christ and command the spirit to leave right away. If you have any more troubles ask Jesus Christ, in prayer, to forgive you for your sins and ask Him to look after you. He has power over all demons. God bless you and your friend. Going to a lively christian church can also help.

I have the same dreams.. It started when I was about 7 years old. My first dream was that I was in this bright room, and an angel like figure came and I took it's hand. Then it started to get very hot and I heard screaming. As I got closer I started to feel pulling and scratching. I started to cry out the name of Jesus. I woke up sweating really hard. Then as the years went by I started to have dreams about something sitting on me. It really didn't seem like a dream more like reality. As I got older it became more creepy. The spirit tries to kiss my neck all the time, and I feel breathing on me also. I also feel like I'm having a seziure. I tell my mom about it all the time, and she resently told me that she feels that it is the enemy trying to distract you. Trying to separate me from the Lord. She told me to get more grounded in the word. Trust in God!!

Your mom is right. We need to be grounded in The Word. I would ask The Lord to protect my mind when I am asleep as well. Satan goofs off with many people and sometimes it can be unnerving. He sat on me a few times and I had trouble breathing until I fought him off and told him to go in the Name of Jesus. Remember satan is weak. If we rebuke him... he runs. He looks for weak points to inject nasty stuff in our sleep. He is the world slickest salesman and he is full of nonesense. Jesus Christ is the Protector of the children.

Thumbs up Gibo. You're absolutely correct. :D The more you understand the Word of God, the easier it is to run off the demons. There are times when these demons are so stubborn that it seems almost impossible to get rid of them but that's why we have God's Word. If you really understand what Jesus tells us in the Bible He's practically giving us the answer. You must underderstand what is being told to you through the Bible otherwise you'll be in satan's grip. If you can't understand the Bible ask Jesus to reveal it to you. Sometimes He'll give you the answer straight or He'll bring someone around to answer your questions. Don't be afraid or embarrassed to ask questions about the Bible. Someone will be more than happy to discuss it with you, like a pastor or someone in the church congregation or born again family members. I found that sometimes when being attacked in my sleep Jesus will put a scripture in my head and tell me to say it (as long as I know what the scripture means; what it stands for). I'll say it in my head (if I can't talk) and repeat it and the demon always runs with it's tail tucked between it's legs. Don't be surprised if they flee faster than you can finish the scripture or finish calling Jesus. They will be too scared to deal with Him. Lol Remember also, if you can't move your mouth or talk, just thinking the name of Jesus scares the demons. They're more scared of Jesus than people are scared of them. Just the mention of His name will send them running. So remember, ground yourself in the Word, ask questions, and TRUST IN GOD. God bless you! :D

Another tip for young Christians is don't mix it with the occult in the form of books or films. Harry Potter films and books etc (there are hundreds of dark books, dark films and dark computer games these days available to our young folk) can be door openers into the evil spirit world. We need to watch what we watch, lest satan gets a legal hold to torment. Porn is also the evil ones' area. If we dance with porn, we can end up just about anywhere.

I've had an experience similar to this... God lead me to a deliverance ministry -WELLSPRING MINISTRIES and they teach to work through elimiating evil spirit or demons from your life. It was on my mind contantly so one night I was dreaming and in the dream my sister was moving into a new apartment and I was calling all the evil spirits to leave by starting to say... In the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Power of his Blood I command but something was keeping me from speaking it out loud and I felt pressed down and I kept trying harder and harder until it woke me up. I woke up mumbling startled to death and I know it wasn't just a dream something was keeping me from speaking it outloud. I was so afraid to pray outloud so I pray in my mind and went to bed with my scripture note cards. Now if that were to happen it wouldn't scare me as much, because I know my authority in Christ!
