Orange Flame Gas Appliances Make Me Blue
All burners on stove are burning with an orange flame. The heater and water heater also have an orange flame. Could there be a problem with the gas service into the house, possibly a meter problem ? Everything was fine and suddenly all went bad ? Thanks, KFMT

And if the gas company blows you off, get an independent tech.

Gas Co. phone rep said my appliances were causing this problem. I called back and insisted the Gas Co. send a tech. He arrived and checked things over and said impurities, "dust", of some kind, in their gas lines was causing all of the burners to flame orange. I found out that the phone rep had no technical knowledge and just blew me off.
