If you have moved and filled out a change of address at the post office to have your mail forwarded, would your W-2 be forwarded also? I heard it was considered a government document & the post office would not forward it but would send it back to the addressor. Is this true?

I can not say the post office rules, but 2 of mine were just forwarded in the last two weeks. Also not sure about government document, since the renewal for my real estate license was also forwarded

If you are having yor mail forwarded then the PO should indeed forward your W2. Be aware that it can take the PO ten days or so before you actually start getting your forwarded mail.
