Is my poem any good ?

Hello, I would like to hear your opinions about a poem I recently wrote ? Is it any good and what could be changed ? Please be honest, thank you. The Poem: If seasons would blend on a canvas or two, These paintings, my sweet, would be paintings of you. Dark colours of autumn and the youthness of spring, Would create such an image that its beauty could sting. Summer would share its warm touch and smooth breeze, Then winter would come and make all of it freeze, Paintings like these would be bitter and sweet, And in paintings like these all the seasons would meet. If one day paintings like these will be true, Then these paintings, my sweet, will be paintings of you. |
