Myself or Joe would like to be contacted.. myself is substituted for "I". Notice how this sentence is more awkward with me. That's how I figure some grammar out too Rick. I could be wrong though.... wait, I think I am... "me a name I call myself" may mean we use me when we are naming ourselves. Hmmm, I would go with that one-- contact Joe or me. I only see myself used as in "I can do that myself, thanks." Some grammar expert is likely to say BOTH!! ha ha It does work that me and myself are after the verb and I is in front though.
J_9... i was going to say the same thing. I remember learning that in 5th grade english lol
Myself should only be used in a few different ways. One is reflexive (reflective), as in reflecting back on the subject of the sentacne. Like, I gave myself the day off. Or Rick treated himself to an ice cream. Another way is emphatic (emphasizing). Like I did it myself. You yourself said you'd never do that again.
Myself should never be used in place of a pronoun.
