"Me and Joe" or "Joe and myself" ?

I finish a sentence with "...please contact Joe or myself".

Now I'm wondering if it's wrong since it would not make sense to say "please contact myself".

Is it more correct to say "please contact me or Joe" ?

Myself or Joe would like to be contacted.. myself is substituted for "I". Notice how this sentence is more awkward with me. That's how I figure some grammar out too Rick. I could be wrong though.... wait, I think I am... "me a name I call myself" may mean we use me when we are naming ourselves. Hmmm, I would go with that one-- contact Joe or me. I only see myself used as in "I can do that myself, thanks." Some grammar expert is likely to say BOTH!! ha ha It does work that me and myself are after the verb and I is in front though.

Contact Joe or me is correct. See this is how you look at it....

Leave Joe's name out and see if it makes sense.

Please contact myself

OR

Please contact me

If you leave out the name of the other person to be contacted then you get the correct grammar.

Hmmm I do think its that simple Janine and here is why:
"we all like to think our views are valid, Joe and myself included."

Kudos to you!

The cool thing about englsih is what grammar you don't know you can get around easily enough:
"please contact us - Joe or I will be happy to.."

J_9... i was going to say the same thing. I remember learning that in 5th grade english lol

Myself should only be used in a few different ways. One is reflexive (reflective), as in reflecting back on the subject of the sentacne. Like, I gave myself the day off. Or Rick treated himself to an ice cream. Another way is emphatic (emphasizing). Like I did it myself. You yourself said you'd never do that again.

Myself should never be used in place of a pronoun.

dmatos agrees: Ever since I married an English major, I can't stand inappropriate use of "myself" :)
