How Many Emoticons or Smilies Can You Think Of Just Using Your Computer Keyboard?

Here's some that I can think of using. I'm just looking for those that you can make by using the keyboard that don't become any sort of character that has any color and shape.

I've disabled the smilies in this post to enable demonstrating that. You might want to do the same.

I know that there could be many more than the ones that I've listed.

Thanks!

:), :(, :/, */*, +_+, etc.

I know (what is the symbol for none) 0

I'm so illiterate about this stuff its not funny.

My sons mock me all the time,I'm such a dinosaur.

I have to text(they forced me) because it is cheaper so I do for my kids but it
takes me forever.........

They do 125 characters in one minute. I am so bad at texting its not funny. And I have NO CLUE what any of those symbols mean

NOT a clue!

I'm struggling with what TTYL means :eek

you just used 2 smilies in your post. that's what those smiley faces are. before they became cute, little pictures they were emoticons (emotional icons) typed out by keyboard.

here's a quick crash-course in emoticon meanings.

:), :-), :-)), :-D, :D, ;), ;-), :-}, =), :^), :-], 8-), 8-D, ^_^, =^_^=, >_<, ^_~, ^o^ all mean happiness, in varying degrees and combinations.

:-P, :P are sticking their tongues out

:(, :-(, :'( are sad

:'( is crying

:-* is kissing

:-D, :D, 8-D are laughing

:-X, :X, :-&, :-#, 8-| are silent

:-/, :-}, >_< is chagrined or embarrassed

:-[ is a vampire

:-o, :-0, |:-0, 8-0, ^o^ are surprised

<:-} is wearing a dunce cap

>:-* is a devil

=^_^= is a cat

;), ;-), ^_~ are winking

~:-| is confused

They need a emoticon for sarcasm.
Itt is hard to express it via words, you need the smug look or sneer to accompany it.

they have a smiley they label as sarcastic on most messengers, but it looks more like it's in pain to me.

oh, and no problem, artlady, it was my pleasure ^_^
