Any advice on how to choose character names for a story?

Character one is a very pretty, young idealistic recent college graduate. She is a classy person for one so young. I am thinking of Victoria, Christina, or Cynthia. Victoria Principal or Victoria Jackson would work, but they are famous names. How about Victoria Watson?

Character two is a late thirty- or early forty-something mover and shaker businessman who is almost arrogant, with no time for details. I don't even have a suggested name for him?

look online for names meanings as if you were naming a new baby or in phone books to get names for your characters that have similar meanings to your characters personality--short names are easier to type repeatedly

You can do what i do. I combine the persons personality traits and/ or qualities with eachother and get those traits from the meaning of names on this site: http://www.babynamesworld.com/index.php (ex. boy> Adalardo~> noble, girl- Adele~> noble and kind...).
