This woman is trying to get a rise out of me

Ok, we're both new hires, the chick is hot and single. And im hot and single. We both know it.
I express no interest in her what so ever.
She complains to me about her failed relatinoships and how shes given up on men.

Im the nicest guy shes ever met (i think thats the problem). I always boots up this es ego. For example.

She comes to work and tells me shes depressed about being rejected or something like that and I tell the bithch, "Hey its going to be ok, your the Bomb" and you know it, what ru depressed about" I stop and go about my business not wanting to pander to her too much and she says. Go on make me feel better. I tell her shes the bomb again and shes is happy as ever.

I never give the any unneccesary attention, like when she was showing off some bikini picture I did not come to the pc to look at it.

And even though we work closely together I have never asked the for her phone number. However she always asks me to go places with her on her lunch break. To which i oblige.

OK THATS THE BACKGROUND NOW HERE IS THE PROBLEM.

Anytime I'm talking to another male co worker, she always gives me a jab the questions my masculinity. This has happened twice, first im talking to someone and then i said "That would cause a fight between you and I" and she jumps in and says "Can you fight?".

I'm talking with a co worker about another story and I say, "I would have beaten him" She says, what you would do?...lets hear it.

On both occasions I said nothing and just continued as normal.

But this crap is seriously pissing me off. What should I do, I want a good jab or comeback or blowup when she comes back with this BS.

Mind you Im frickin buff, with a baby face, im obviously buff and she is still tellin me that crap.

Give me an opinion, as to what I should do. And why this might be doing this.

Sayonara!

I think she likes you more then a friend but she's not willing to admit it. She would rather play these mind games with you. Like seeking self pitty from you and making sarcastic remarks about your masculinity. My suggestion to you is to confront her if your interested in her. If your not interested in her don't let her get that rise out of you. That's exactly what she wants. Don't give her that satisfaction. But also don't give her mixed signals like overly complimenting her when she's seeking self pitty and going out to lunch with her.

The way you described the situation and keep referring to her as biatch tells me that you have some maturing to do yourself. If you can't treat the other person sincerely, I suggest you don't be a hypocrite and don't bother dealing with her. Grow up first and learn to care about another person in genuine matter.

um... lets see.

she asked you what you would do, perhaps in a condescending way, that made you feel like she was questioning your masculinity.

hmmm.. what should you do?

hell i dunno. just reach down your pants and pull out your massive penis and wave it around for all to see and be in awe???

apparently being buff and having a baby face does not mean you are secure.

get over it. blow her off. ignore her. who cares.

the fact that she can get to you with such a stupid comment IS reason to question whether you are a man or a kid mentally

... it could just be teasing play. my wife does stuff like that all the time to guys to see if she can get them flustered.

if you cannot laugh it off then you're too damn worried about what others think of you.

i'd say she's just teasing you playfully. enjoy the fact this "hot" girl... oh, i'm sorry... "hot ***** " you ignore is all about you. if it gets out of hand and shes disruptive, sure say something.

i'd avoid blowing up. you're at work. be an adult.

Hi, Stormy,
This has been discussed with the Administration. They are still working on a plan, whereby if a post is older than say, 6 mo, then the person wanting to answer will get a pop-up, saying "no", or whatever.
Giving answers to a year old post may never be read by the person asking the original question. But, Some of us still miss the date it was posted!! I do it, too, sometimes.
