Lost the job all of a sudden

After I came from work today my manager called and informed I am terminated from without any reason. I am working with the company for one year. I am living in Surrey BC, Canada. What are all the formalities, Can any company do that? what are all the benefits am I eligible? Can I contact any labour office? reply
