How to handle ppl around u ?

While working in a big company how to tackle people around u...like ur collegues, ur seniors, ur boss etc. How to handle various situations when u r new there?? What things are to be kept in mind while working there??

Let your work speak for you. Do what your told to do in a timely manner and try to make your work shine. Stay away from "water cooler" chats until you can gauge the corporate culture and those around you.

Just get on with your job and you'll be fine, if you have any problems concerning your job always ask rather than do it wrong.

In my experience companies would much rather you ask than plod on in your own sweet way and get it wrong...it proves you want to do a good job for them, which can only come out good in your favour.

Be sure you know who you are imediately answerable to,don't go above their heads,it won't go down well, other than that be yourself which is why after all they employed you.....
