Did My Manager pressing on me to Quit?

Hi im fresh graduated with Bsc on hotel management and im one of the top 3 at my class. ive applied to many 5 stars hotels then one of those after 2 days called me for an interview and behavioral interview... finally salah (Front desk manager) called me and confirmed me that ive been accepted there as a receptionist and that was my only condition! there was another guy who has been accepted too as an operator but salah (Mngr) forced him to transfer to the reception.i spent there 1 month (and ive rejected many work offers while im working )and i was very delighted at this position.yesterday my manger called me and told me that he wants me to transfer to the operator! i told him that im not interested but he say (you must like it ..its not an option) now im very sad. and i dont like to work there and working as operator isnt an option for me because i dont like it at all...please help me should i quit or what to do ...
thank you all

well i think you should stay but look for another job, if you were getting lots of good offers when you were look the first time than you should have no problem getting more

never stay at a job you hate, it just starts to wear you down , and your happiness is always important

Sounds like the manager likes to keep playing musical employees and has fun transferring them around. Makes him feel extremely "important". Ditch that place as soon as you find another job. Sounds like he'll have you doing the housekeeping job next.
