Closeted lesbian and I don't know if my boss is bi/lesbia

Asked Apr 8, 2012, 12:45 AM — 11 Answers
So I work into this retail company and I'm so attracted to my boss! Its killing me like hell. I can't stop thinking about her.. Plus the connection that I feel with her is so strong. We make a lot of eye contacts and we always come across our way and I feel awkward when we're near to each other. Ughh I don't know if she likes me too because she always initiate to say hi to me! I don't know if she's just really nice. But she's nice but it never fails! That every time she sees me she make sure she smiles at me or say hi!its driving me crazy and iM so shy. I've also noticed that she always in the breakroom whenever I take breaks or lunch. And what's strange is I ask myself signs like" if she's gna buy something then she likes me" and " if she goes to the restroom then she likes me" and it would happen! That's so strange for me.. So I don't know if she's just really nice or there's a possibility that she likes me! Help.. I feel intimidated by her because she's my boss but I really do like her

Well from my experience would be leave it as a little crush just try to forget it you don't wanna mix love with work it never turns out well I been there once in my life it was a disater and has happen to a lot of my friends and the only way to know would be asking her but that would be weird and it would just make it awkward but maybe if you get lucky shell make a move if she feels the same way but my advice is try to leave it alone yeah its hard but its for the best try to distract yourself and go out have fun try to meet someone new

Whether she likes you or not, forget about the whole idea. She's your boss and nothing good can come of this.

It could be that she is just a nice person, could be coincidence as there is likely only one employee bathroom and one break room.
Whether she is lesbian or bi-sexual is irrelevant, this is a work place and interaction should be kept strictly professional.
If she is flirting or coming on to you then that is very inappropriate for someone in management.
Forget about it and look for love elsewhere, otherwise you could jeopardize your job, and those are hard to come by these days.

Next until you are ready to get out of the closet you are never going to be able to deal with real life and grown up dating. It will say closer to Jr High where you are in secret.

So you think that being a lesbian is not "normal" Can you not accept yourself the way you are and be willing to admit the way you are ?

I just want to let you know that you are who you are. There is no normal and not normal. Everyone is different in one way or another... can you imagine how boring this world would be if we all were alike? I hope you can accept and be proud of yourself soon.

Is it legal in California for a CEO to fire employees AFTER the CEO has resigned? My understanding is that the CEO can no longer hire, fire or negotiate contracts after they have tendered their resignation.
