Save jpg as text?

I need to convert a jpeg file name to a txt or Word file name. I have folders of images that need to be saved as a text/word file. Example of file name: CC-TPB-BE-Smith John-Red Rose.jpg

You can't directly.
You can use Character recognition software for any words in a picture.

Not rely getting what you want to do you can dins places on line that will OCR .jpg files or you can insert the photos into a word file????

All of a sudden this week, the computer I'm using at work won't let me save images from the internet as .jpg anymore. It only gives me the option of bitmap. What changed and how do I change it back? I was able to save .jpg images all the time before.
