Versed.Don't let your doctor give this to you!

I was given Versed for an endoscopy in 1991 and I swear the drug ruined my entire life. I was normal before I was given this evil drug w/o my knowledge or consent. I woke up like 5 times during the test, choking and trying to strangle the doctor, (I'm a bad asthmatic on top of it all,) I have permanent throat damage and can't eat alot of foods. (he offered to "fix" me if I came back to his office....yeah, right!!)
The result of this drug being given to me resulted in:
bipolar disorder
severe anxiety attacks
chronic depression
PTSD
paranoia

I doubt at this late date I have any recourse to sue, I just live one day at a time and see a good psychiatrist and therapist, take my medication like a good little girl and try to live life to the fullest that I'm able to....which isn't a very good quality of life I hate to say. I feel like it's my life's crusade now to warn people NOT to let their doctors or dentists give them this evil, mind altering drug. There are quite a few websites on the evils of versed....and these people are NOT lying about it's effects. I've complained several times to the FDA to pull it off the market.

you need to start a petition to get it off the market and get info from people who have taken it and the unwanted lasting side affects

I thought some of the people on there could help even if just moral support because they have had the same problem.

that site is desturbing to read and that drug should be taken off the market i agree 100%
