| Trying to concieve at 46 Hello, i wonder if anyone could give us advice or even hope please? We have been trying to have a child for the last 2 years (i already have kids from a previous marriage)
Our consultant gave me some clomid to try and of course tests were done prior to using the clomid.
My tests apparently were "ok" and my husbands sperm test showed he had 8 million but 40% were slow movers.
On my last visit the consultant said that the clomid had been speeding up the use of my reserve egg supply and our chances of becoming pregnant naturally was very slim and we should consider finding an egg donor.
Seems like the end of the road for us because we just dont have that sort of money to pay for treatment even IF we knew ow or where to find a donor.
Any advice to improve our chances in getting pregnant would be brilliant and any stories of other older parents going through the same thing and succseeding would be really a boost for our moral.
Thanks for reading and we hope to hear from you.
