Severe life threatening condition, go to ER immediately, or see your doctor immediately.
Have you actually been diagnoses with a kidney infection ?

You should ask your doctor. Don't self-medicate antibiotics

If you have a true kidney infection, an antibiotic is most often necessary. Different types of bacteria can be the cause so you really need to see your doctor to determine what would be the best treatment depending on what they find.
Be sure to get checked out as kidney infections can become quite serious.

A kidney infection has to be diagnosed, especially if one is a diabetic; and we don't know the OP's medical conditions and most importantly, we don't diagnose on AMHD. Or provide medical information. Kidney failure, following an undiagnosed condition can lead to compromising conditions. If you don't know what our kidneys are used for, taxes, then don't comment on using someone else's leftovers or ordering on line. Using someone else's antibiotics will only increase the complications of a kidney infection.
Where do you get your information from, by the way?
You are providing dangerous information on an international forum, and completely incorrect information at that.

Actually, you attacked my answer. My advise was to ask the doctor and not self-medicate. You said my answer was wrong which it isn't. Feel free to delete my answer giving ideas to anyone.
One of the problems of antibiotic resistance is that people self-medicate, use leftovers, buy the drugs online without any prescription, don't use the packages to the end etc. Any doctor will tell you not to do that, that's why I said that in my first answer. Anyway, I get my information from the fact that I'm a scientist at a Medical School and regularly work with antibiotics.
Again, feel free to delete anything that might give ideas to irresponsible people.

Taxes, you should actually put your 'credentials' in your profile so we all know your answers are qualified.
Yes, I agree they should indicate text is changed, but they don't.
And, apologies if I misunderstood your answer, but some people can take answers as absolute; so best to be careful how it is worded, but then yes, that could be changed too :)
