| This happened to me when I first began taking birth control. The reason why it is a brownish color is because it is old blood that has been sitting inside of you that is discharging. When it is bright red that means that it is new blood. I have bad cramps now that I have started the pill, but never had them before. I take three tylenol extra strength at a time. As for the headaches, they are probably your body getting used to the new hormones that are being put into it. Just remember that you need to take your birth control everyday at the same time. If you miss any doses you can get pregnant. That is how I got pregnant with my daughter. |
