Is this ICP - INTRAHEPATIC CHOLESTASIS OF PREG? I'm almost 5 months pregnant and i just developed this itching all over my body, except for my belly and chest [where i thought the itching was supposed to occur!]. This morning on the train my palms and soles of my feet started itching madly, for 5 minutes, then it went away - just this alone could not be ICP [INTRAHEPATIC CHOLESTASIS OF PREGNANCY] ,could it? since then, the rest of my body's been itching, but not my palms and feet any more. I have no rash. My Gen Practitioner said it happens to many pregnant women and there is nothing to worry about, but she had not heard of ICP when I mentioned it. is it safe to wait a week till my first ob meeting and pray he will recognize it? your experience is much appreciated!
