Painful Pea Sized Lump in Labia
I found a small peas sized hard bump yesterday in my left labia under the skin. I first noticed it when I was wiping after urinating and it hurt alomost like a pimple. I got a mirror and examined it and tied to pop it but there is no head and nothing came out. It is very tender to the touch but no discoloration or heat from that area. I am 26 yrs old and tried a hot bath but it didn't work.

Is it on the inside or outside of the labia? If you wax or shave and the bump is where hair grows it could be an ingrown hair. If that's the case it will eventually grow enough that you should be able to squeeze or dig it out. If you can't get rid of it in the next month then see a doctor.

Please don't squeeze or "dig" it out. Breaks in the skin are invitations for infection.

    Are you sexually active?
    Do you shave/wax?
Is there a possibility of an STD?

Inside on skin that hangs down from the clitoris... so no hair grows there

Yes sexually avtive... I have been married 7 years so I hope there is no chance of an STD, plus its under the skin not like a bump/wart. I do shave but this is inside near clitoris where hair doesn't grow

Actually, hair does grow there, but is rarely noticed. It very well could be a sebaceous cyst. Nothing serious, but painful nonetheless. Whatever you do, don't pop it. If you do, you risk infection.

If it doesn't clear on it's own in a few days, call your doctor for an appointment and an exam.

I apologize for the "unhelpful" answer. I have a lot of personal experience with ingrown hairs and if you don't remove them, they could cause much worse infections. That's advice from my doctor that I passed on here, hence my answer.

However, I can see that if it's not an ingrown hair, my advice is unhelpful.
