painful cramps

I have been getting large clots, when I get my period and the cramps feel more like contractions, rather than cramps and until I pass these large clots the pain does not go away. In facts I have to stop what I'm doing cause I can't moved and all I want to do is cry.

It sounds like you aborted. Is this past or before your regular period ? If you are passing clots then here has to be something seriously wrong with your uterus. I suggest you visit your doctor asap.

I will agree with Tickle only in the fact that you need to get to the doctor.

It is quite possible you have endometriosis or maybe PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). Both of these need to be diagnosed by your doctor.

Now, if you are sexually active, a miscarriage could be an option. However, we do not know if you are sexually active, and we do not know if this is a one time occurance or if this happens every month.

If your clots are quite large, it could feel like contractions. After all, the opening they make their way through is narrow. See your OB/GYN -- it could simply be a matter of hormone imbalance.
