odd problems

So this is kind of weird to me. I have been off of my period for about 5 days but i have dark brown discharge. It never usually happens so i don't know why it is.

Is there a problem or am i over reacting?

At first i thought it might be a symptom of a STD but i've used protection.
So i honestly don't know whats wrong and i'm a little worried.

Please help.

I would go to the doctor just to make sure everything is ok. That way you can get your yearly exam and ask about this all at once. I would get it looked at, but don't worry too much. I had this happen once, and after tests, it turned out I was fine. I think it was just some old blood. In my case, I went for a run before it happened. It was the first time I exercised since my period, and I think that had something to do with it. So, don't stress, but get it checked. Any change in menstruation is worth mentioning to your doc. Hope this helps and remember, don't stress.
