No period for nearly two months. Am I pregnant?
We have been trying for a baby since July and the first day of my last period was 21st September. My boobs were sore a couple of weeks ago and I have had some strange feelings to the left of my belly button, but apart from that, no other symptoms. I can't tell if my boobs have got bigger or not.

I have done a few pregnancy tests and all have been negative. I'm hoping I am pregnant and it's just not showing up yet, but it's nearly been two months without a period and the last pregnancy test I took was this morning.

Has anyone else had this before and been pregnant without being nautious. May the reason I am not nautious be because I am not showing up enough hormone?

Any help and answers would be appreciated.

You may or may not be pregnant. There are only 3 definitive signs to pregnancy and that is listening to fetal heartbeat, feeling baby move, and visualization on ultrasound. All other signs and symptoms may be related to other disorders.

The only way to know for sure right now is to make a doctor's appointment.

I NEVER got morning sickness with any of my pregnancies, so that is not always a sign of pregnancy. Please make an appointment for a blood test.

Thank you for your reply. I have been putting off going to the doctor, hoping a pregnancy test would be positive or my period would arrive.

I forgot to say that I have been needing the loo quite a lot.

I will try to book a doctors appointment for tomorrow.

I never showed pregnant until around 4 months, a doctor's appt is needed to find out if you are, and if you aren't why.

Really, 4 months. Did you have any symptoms at all? I don't want to get too excited, just in case I am not. I am quite small, do you think this could have something to do with low hormone levels?

I have just called the doctors and have an appointment on Monday. I still have strange feelings around my belly button, even as I am typing this. I hope it is not something else.

I never had any symptoms with any of my pregnancies other than a big tummy. LOL

I am sitting here right now, as we speak, studying fertilization, implantation and pregnancy for a test on Monday, and I can tell you that there is no way to tell at this point in time without a complete history and physical exam.

    Thank you for your help.

I'm sure my belly already sticks out a bit, but I'm not sure if it's me being paranoid! Lol

I will update you on Monday! Fingers crossed.

I've been to the doctor today and she did not seem that bothered. She said that pregnancy tests are normally very accurate and I'm probably not pregnant. She didn't give me a test, but I am booked in to have a blood test next Monday, so I have to wait another week.

I have still been having these aches to the left of my belly button and also my right side has been aching when I sleep on it, almost like a pressure ache.

I am surprised that the doctor wasn't concerned that it could be anything else, but maybe I should stop worrying.

Still waiting to go to have the bloodtest on Monday. I am having almost like pins and needles around my belly button. It started to the left, but now I am getting these above, below and to both sides.

Is there anything else this could be?

Be persistent with your doctor, why did she not give you the blood test when you were in there the first time. If nothing comes up, be persistent and demand that you want certain tests done to find out what is going on. For example, ultrasound. That will be a tell all. Good luck.

These days I find a lot of doctors do not seem to have the time to deal with you. They want to rush you out so they can see the next person as soon as possible.

When I go on Monday I will again explain these feelings I have been having and see what the nurse says. I have been feeling slightly nautious the last few days, but haven't been sick or anything.

I will ask for an ultrasound as that sounds like the best idea, especially if my blood test comes up negative.

I finally had a blood test after the second attempt. The first time no blood would come out and I nearly passed out.

I got the results of the blood test and it was all normal.

I haven't got a clue what is going on. I have put on weight, my stomach looks big, I am tired and keep having pains around my belly button and I haven't had a period since September 21st.

I wasn't stressing, but now I am starting to think something could be wrong. Is there any possibility that the blood test could be wrong? As I am typing this I have got heartburn.

Has anyone ever had an innacurate blood test? Could this be something else? Please help.

Heartburn, maybe it is esophogus related. Tell them about your heartburn and discomfort. Go from there.

Well, I finally had a period about 4 weeks ago. It was very light and only lasted for about 3 days and it was dark blood, but there was hardly anything.

I did a pregnancy test yesterday afternoon and saw a really faint line on the test. I did another one just to check in case it was a dodgy test and there was also a faint line on that one.

I did a test first thing this morning as I thought it would show up stronger and there was no line!!

Am I pregnant? I am definitely putting on weight! Could I be pregnant and further on than what I'm thinking?

Ok, so a little while further on. Still having these pains on my left side and feeling overly tired. I haven't had a period since January. I'm sure I have put on weight.

I went back to the doctors and he pressed on my side, right where it was painful. He is going to arrange me an ultrasound, so finally I will know what is going on. He said he thought I might be pregnant and not to worry about the negative tests. I've got a bad feeling he might think it could be ectopic, so I am abit worried. Hopefully it will be nothing to worry about.

Has anyone ever had anything like this? I would really like someone to talk to about this.

With my last pregnancy I took a pregnancy test every 5 days or so and it wasn't until the 4th test that I got a positive test. So negative tests aren't always accurate. Right now in fact I'm pretty sure that I am pregnant again, but I've gotten negative tests so far and I'm 2 weeks past my period. I went in for a blood pregnancy test yesterday and it come out negative. But it was the qualitative test and according to the government website its just as accurate as a home urine test. I just still have a strong feeling that I am pregnant. Anyway, my point is, you still might be pregnant. Never under estimate your intuition. Good Luck!

Thanks for that. I have done so many tests, every week or so. It would be so great to be pregnant.

You will have to let me know if you find out you are pregnant. I have had really bad upper back ache this afternoon. I'm going to have a warm bath which will hopefully relieve it.

I just wonder if some people never show up positive on these tests.

I do seem unusually fat around my stomach and I am not normally like this.

I have now had blood tests which came up normal and also a us and pelvic exam.

I have been diagnosed with polycystic ovaries.

I have been told I also have a cyst which is bleeding.

This has been passed on to my doctor who I have made an appointment to see.

I am really worried about the fact that my cyst is bleeding. Could this be anything to do with the back pain I am having?

Has anyone else had this problem. I am now off work and am really panicking about it.
