No period for months now period stopped
I haven't had a regular period since April and now its July. My last regular period was in the end of April of this yr. then in may there was nothing. No discharge of any kind no nothing last month; in June in the 20's all I had was a brown discharge and some streaks of blood towards the end. Now this month again in the 20's I've been having cramps and have had white discharge for a good 2 weeks and then yesterday when I pooped (while still having cramps) there was a lot of blood in the water in the toiled that caught my attention and what usually happens so to check I wiped myself with a tissue and there was actual blood (no brown discharge but actual blood) so I thought I got my period and I wore a pad to bed. After like 20 minutes before I slept I checked to see if it was a normal flow but there was nothing on the pad the pad was clean. I even wiped myself just to make sure at least SOMETHING would be there but there was nothing. So I thought maybe it will become heavy overnight and now that I woke up I checked and again there was nothing. The cramps are still there to here and there. I'm still a virgin and I've never been on any birth control pills what is going on?

The brown discharge is probably just blood. The white probably means you were ovulating (ovulation can also cause cramping). You sound like you could just be irregular... have you had periods for long?
Sorry... I'm not sure your age, but it can take several years to get a "normal" period... of course, "normal" is different for everybody. ;)

Do you have everything you need on order to go to the doctor yet? I think I remember you saying you were waiting for your insuance to come back. Going to the doctor would be the best bet. He can tell you what's going on and give you a solution.

I can give you an idea of what I think though. Going 3 months without a regular period isn't right, especially if you are not on any birth control that can alter it. It sounds like you may need a prescription to make your periods regular again. It doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong with you, there are plenty of women that go through this problem :)

Guys I know I sound ocnfused but its just that my period is being very WEIRD!! See earlier in the morning I posted that all of a sudden there were no periods so after that I went to sleep and now when I woke up there was still nothing on the pad but when I wiped there was blood. And there is cramping like before when I used to have my friend. I am 20 and no I still did not get my insurance in order to go to the doc.

From everything you've said before, it just sounds like your period is irregular. You may need some hormone therapy or prescriptions to get it back on track. :)

Or can I just wait because it is coming? I feel it and now there is actual blood unlike the brown discharge before. I guess since it hasn't been coming for a while it is now taking its time.

If you are 20, its still possible to have irregular periods. Birth control pills regulate those things, so that might be something to look into. A "light" or spotty flow might be normal for you... not everyone has bleeding every day or heavy bleeding at all.

Even if you don't have insurance, you can still find a doctor. It might cost $200 to go to a regular doc, but you could also find a clinic that will take you. Its worth the peace of mind. You can't depend on an Internet message board to diagnose you.
