    No period for 5 month
I have always been pretty regular until about a year ago, when they started coming every other month. Now it has been 5 months and I still haven't had one. I have no medical insurance and can't afford to pay for a doctor. What should I do?

You have to decide what is more important, your health or money? 5 months is a long time to go without a period for no apparent reason, and you need to find out why this is happening by a doctor.

Are you on any kind of birth control? Or is pregnancy a possibility? How old are you?

Absence of a period is called Amenorrhea.

Have you lost or gained a significant amount of weight lately? Under a lot of undue stress recently?

If the answers to these questions is no... then you need to see a doctor to treat the underlying cause. It may be something very simple, yet it could be related to a serious problem that only a doctor can diagnose.

This should be serious enough to see a doctor, I'm a guy and I think if you don't have your period for a long period like that it's either you pregnant or really need medical help.

Ask your family for some financial help, this is too serious for pride..
