No period for 2 months and not pregnant

The last time I had my period was March 22nd. Nothing in April and nothing in May. I went to the Dr. for a pregnancy test, that came back negative, so they did a blood test for pregnancy. That was also negative. I have been off of the pill since late October/November time, and since then my periods have been running every 30 days without fail. Why am I all the sudden skipping periods? What could this be a sign of if I am not pregnant.

I have a Dr. appointment next week, but since I know I am a worrier, I thought that I would preempt any worry and ask the question.

Have they done an ultrasound? I would think that would be the next step if you are young. If the ultrasound shows no pregnancy, they may start looking for things like PCOS or Endometriosis. good luck.

Have you stayed in the same place for this entire time? Except for being on the birth control, I had the same situation a few years ago. I was away from home for the summer and didn't get my period the entire time I was away. If you've been away from where you live, the stress of the new environment could cause you to skip cycles. I'm no doctor but it's just a thought.
