Lump found in my virgina lips

It has been 2 days now I've noticed a lump in my virgina lips. It's a size of a sunflower seed. It's not painful but unfortunately a few hours after sex my lump starts to get sore.

Any idea what the lump is?

What color is the lump? When was your last pap smear/women's health exam? Have you ever been diagnosed with HPV? Could it be genital warts?

My friend had a lump there and it turned out to be a Bartholin's gland cyst. The Bartholin's glands are on either side of the opening and secrete fluid. Sometimes a cyst will form when the gland is blocked. They just have to drain it, and then it usually goes away. I'm not saying that's what it is in your case, however. Her's was bigger than a sunflower seed. It hurt her to sit down and ride horses and all, so her's was pretty big.

I think you should see a doctor. It's really hard to say what it is without seeing it and knowing your medical history and all. The internet is great, but not for diagnosis, lol. Anytime it's something like that, it really is better to just go to the doctor. Better safe than sorry, I guess. I would avoid sex if it irritates it, at least until the doctor gives you the ok.

Let me also say that Virginia is a state in the US, not a body part, LOL. You mean Vagina.
