Late Period and bleeding for only 2-3 days

Ok so I am 22 and I was late having my period by 3 going on 4 days usually I'm off by a day or 2 but I was a little worried that the third day was here and I still had no period. However the night before I came on I saw what seemed to be very light pinkishy spotting I got really scared and was like I'm not pregnant I can't be... And then the next day I believe I came on my period I felt all the cramping and bloating like I normally do but this time my period isn't heavy at all not like normal today is the second day and there isn't much bleeding is like I'm going off my period its weird..what does this mean or am I'm just making something out of nothing.. Advice would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks.

Go take a pregnancy test.
