Late Period

My last period was April 20th. I should have gotten one May 17th. I'm not always regular, but lasst month I was right on time. I had sex on the 21st of april and somewhere around the 8th of may. The "ovulation" day for me should be May 4th. Both times my boyfriend and I had sex he withdrew (not for pregnancy prevention purposes). Starting somewhere around the 5th/ 6th of May I had brown discharge that was also still a little white up until may 15th. The second time we had sex it hurt a little bit (could have just been dry?) I know I'm only a day late, but I'm still worried. Does anyone know what the chances of me being pregnant are? Why the brown discharge? Anything that could help me? I know I should see a doctor but I would like to know anyone's opinion on here first, or a similar situation.
thanks!

this is a really common question here, and im afraid youve got some fretting to do for a bit.

sometimes its just an irregular period. sometimes there is conception.

you need to wait a bit, take a test, and probably wait a bit more.

you know the things that can throw your cycle off... stress, nutrition, health... and sometimes its just off for no good reason, even with women who are always regular.

if youre not ready for kids you should consider birth control. even that isnt perfect. the little guy in my avatar was conceived while using birth control... 5% failure means one in twenty...

so take a test. talk to a doc or a clinic for a test if you need to. but youve got a little fretting to do before youll know for sure.
