Large Lump in Labia Majora (breast too)

Hi, I just had some questions about a large lump (about the size of a golf ball) in the upper part of my labia majora. Its hard and sorta flat but wide with a nodule on it. I don't know how long it has been there really. I didn't do self check but felt a nagging dull feeling down there.
I was told by my doc that its probably a lymph node and due to a yeast infection. I have diabetes 2 and I get them often. I am wondering if this will only get larger and more painful. If its not a lymph node since she only felt the lump and "thought" it was a lymph node is there any way of knowing for sure without tests? I can't find anything about lymph nodes in the labia on the internet. It only goes to things about cancer. I don't feel its cancer and since my doctor didn't feel alarmed or concerned I'm not sure what to do next. I also have a lump in my breast, (breast not under arm, but did have a large marble size lymph node before I found the lump in my breast) its hard and next to it its more of like a long thickness. It has grown very slowly. I also some nipple discharge that is not bloody so that isn't an indication as far as I know of cancer. I just wanted some helpful information until I can get back to the doctor. i don't want to be sitting around worrying and in pain until I can get there. Thanks for any help.

Oh, this has been ongoing for about 2 years. I'm 32, and about 5 years before these lumps I was successfully treated for pre-cancer cells in my uterus. I can't think of anything else that might need to be known.

You really need to find another doctor. I'm not trying to scare you, but the breast lump really concerns me. And this coming from a breast cancer survivor myself.

I'm not sure about the lump on the labia, but if it is really the size of a golf ball you should run not walk to your doctor.

Sorry, sweet, but I really think you need a second opinion and sooner rather than later.

Thank you so much for your response. I will look for another doctor. I don't have insurance (and can't afford the sliding scale prices) so it may take some figuring out but I'll try to do it swiftly. Thanks again

Please do sweetie. The lump in your breast has me very concerned. And I mean very. There is probably something going on in your milk ducts or milk glands that is causing the discharge. Yours sounds very much like mine was. I got the run around "you're too young" (I was 32), "cancer isn't painful" (my lump was painful), "you don't have a family history." But I persisted because I knew in my heart of hearts that something was wrong. After 7 doctors, I finally got the diagnosis.

I am 10 1/2 years without cancer now because I took my health into my own hands. Please try to find a doctor who will work with you.

Sorry its been so long since I posted. It took awhile to get to the point to be seen properly. I went to my general doc and she wouldn't even feel my breast lump until I was laying down. So I was a bit confused and felt like.. well maybe thats how they tell. But I let that go and the labia was really bothering me so I went to the hospital thinking they would be able to do something. I guess I was wrong lol. They didn't do an ultrasound or anything. A strange thing happened though. They said I had a bad yeast infection but when they did the test it came back negative. I was referred to a womans health clinic and went. She told me that she couldn't really feel the labia lump and said "i encourage you to not worry about it" I'll try not to. It just gives me an annoying sensation, but guess nothing can be done about it until it changes.

Before I left the drs office though I told her about my breast lump, she actually listened to me lol. She felt it and asked if I had ever had a mammogram. I hadn't so she set that up for me. She asked if I talked to my general doc and I told her I tried but that she wouldn't feel for it unless I was laying down. She actually rolled her eyes and couldn't believe that. I told her about the enlarged lymph node and then that I found the lump. She said thats what they look for and then she seemed to be more concerned. Also that I had pre-cancer in my uterus at one time. I have an ultrasound set up for the 14th. After they did the mammogram they said that there were a few spots that needed further looking into. Thanks for urging me to ask my doctor. I'll post again when I find more out
