Not a heck of a lot has to stay in. Just think about all those hundreds of little fellas (spermatzoa) that are swimming up there with all their might to reach the designation to impregnate that egg. Just keep on trying and would suggest standing on your head for a while after.

But actually prsi, there are millions and millions of those little guys even in pre-ejaculate, not to mention the multi-millions in complete ejaculte. All you need is one to penetrate the egg and voila you have conceived!

How long have you been trying? Has your husband been tested for motility and mobility as well as sperm count?

If you have been trying an ultra long time, this may be a consideration.

Thanks for your reply.This month will be the 12th month of our trying.In December 2006,I went for a general checkup and doctor did a pap test and told everything was fine.She asked us to use a ovulation kit.I used ovulation kit(1st response) for the last 3months.I am always getting two lines and I'm not able to clearly differentiate the colors.I'm 27 and every month is passing with expectations and frustrations.My husband hasn't done a sperm check yet.We will wait this month and go for a total check up next month.
Should we go to a gynec or to a fertility hospital directly?Is fertility treatment covered by the insurance normally?

Frustration, expectations and stress can actually prevent pregnancy from happening.

There are some couples that it takes a year, up to even two years to become pregnant.

I would say after a year or even a little longer of trying then get checked out.

You might not need fertility treatment because there might not be anything wrong. About the insurance normally I am unsure because each location, country is different..

Yes, it is normal for sperm to come out. It is not the amount that is important.

Joe is right. You are getting ahead of yourself. You do not yet know if you will indeed need fertility treatment.

It took my parents 7 years before they conceived me. Each kid was a little easier after that.

As for your husband getting tested, you can ask your gyno to refer a doctor. He may start with a urologist and then move to fertility specialists if there is indeed a problem.
