hot flashes

hi, i am 48 and have been having the most awdul hot flashes for the past 2 to 3 weeks, but the strange thing is, is that my daughter who is 8 is also getting them. I too have had a bad stomach ache and she says she too has this. Could we have swine flu?

I wouldnt wait to ask that here if you think you have swine flu. Of course the upset stomach is part of the symptoms, the hot flashes arent. If you are unsure go to your nearest emergency department

Unfortunately different symtoms present in different people.

I had it but I only had mild nausea, along with a fever, coughing and sneezing.
My partner had terrible nausea and vomiting as well as the flu symptoms.

I would be heading to your GP or ED like Tick said. A lot of GP's now take in possible Swine Flu cases immediately.
