High Rubella IGG and Rubella IGM after first miscarriage
My wife suffered her first miscarriage when her fetus was only 4 weeks old during her first pregnancy. She got natural shedding of uterus and everything came normal in ultrasound. After a month, we planned another pregnancy and for normal routine check up, we went to another Gynecologist who suggested Torch Test to us. In Torch Test, high Rubella IGG of 136 and Rubella IGM of 0.7 was detected. Based on these reports, she suggested that we do not plan another pregnancy till Rubella IGG and IGM were restored to normal because otherwise, there would be chances of another miscarriage or abnormal child birth. She also prescribed Cap Rovamycin Forte for 3 months. But, when we did the tests of pregnancy, my wife came positive showing that she was pregnant again.
I just want to be assured if high values of Rubella IGG and IGM will affect second pregnancy of my wife as the doctor said or high values indicate that my wife is now immune to Rubella virus and she will have healthy child birth.
Please help me come out of this quandary. I am really scared.

Was the positive pregnancy test shortly after the miscarriage? Has pregnancy been confirmed?

Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor? Does the doctor know that your wife is pregnant again?

Yes, the tests were positive after my wife had had gone through tests one month after miscarriage. Preganancy has been confirmed by simple strip test at home. I had discussed this concern with doctor and she is of opinion that my wife should start taking Rovamycin Forte regulalry twice a day, though she doesn't assure if my wife will have normal child birth.

    Please suggest.

Has pregnancy been confirmed any way other than an at home test?

There are no doctors on this site, so I really would suggest following the advice of your doctor, or getting a second opinion if you don't trust, or disagree with the doctor you have now.

    Good luck.
