Funky brown stuff

Ok I'm 17 years old and the past couple times after my period had ended...I get a brown discharge for a couple days after - could it be an infection? Its not really heavy or anything...but it smells kind of funky... Help! thanks

Are you sexually active?

Yes, it could possible be an infection. You should make a doctor's appointment to clear this up.

I had sex once about 4 months ago...and I'm not on birth control either

Okay, you are 17, had sex, and no birth control.

You do realise that the possibility of you getting pregnant is very high, don't you?

Since you are sexually active you need to make an appointment with a GYN to make sure that you do not have an infection of any kind. It is important to take care of your reproductive health.
